The Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council (UPC) has recognized Abu Dhabi International Airport Terminal A by awarding it a prestigious 3 Pearl Design Rating under the Estidama Pearl Building Rating System. The design of the Terminal is notably climate-responsive, with a façade specifically tailored to the region's conditions. Additionally, it incorporates advanced energy and water systems to minimize consumption. Notably, it also features Abu Dhabi’s largest solar-powered car park.
