A new international gateway for passengers and brands

In a world where mobility is constantly evolving, Jeddah is preparing to take an important step forward with the opening of Terminal 4 at Jeddah International Airport. The former South Terminal has been completely transformed and rebranded as Terminal 4, a dedicated international arrivals and departures facility that officially opened in 26 September 2026.

A high‑potential international passenger mix

Terminal 4 is designed to serve a strongly regional and international passenger base, welcoming travellers from key markets such as Egypt, India, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Kuwait, Yemen, Oman, the UAE and neighbouring countries. It will host a wide variety of travel profiles, including passengers travelling for religious purposes (Umrah), business travellers, family and leisure trips.

With more than 1 million passengers expected between opening and December 2026 and around 8 million forecast for 2027, Terminal 4 offers brands a strategic platform to reach high‑value audiences across the region and beyond.

Airlines, destinations and connectivity

Terminal 4 hosts 27 airlines, serving 41 destinations across 22 countries. A strong mix of full‑service and value‑driven regional and leisure carriers operates from the terminal, including Ethiopian Airlines, Air India, IndiGo, flydubai, Jazeera, Pegasus or Air Arabia.

Key destinations such as India, Turkey, the UAE, Italy, Kuwait and Egypt highlight how Terminal 4 connects Jeddah to a dense network of business and leisure routes, reinforcing the airport’s role as a major international gateway.

A media ecosystem built around the full passenger journey

In Terminal 4, JCDecaux ATA is deploying a portfolio of high‑quality media solutions designed around the entire passenger journey and dwell time, turning key moments into opportunities for meaningful brand encounters.

Impactful formats in the entrance and check‑in halls ensure that brands are present from the very first step into the terminal. Along the path to security, duty free and immigration, strategically positioned lightboxes and digital screens accompany passengers through some of the most captive moments of the journey – including a carefully planned network of boarding‑lounge screens that delivers dynamic content as travellers wait for departure.

On the arrivals side, impactful digital formats at passport control and in the baggage reclaim zone allow brands to speak to passengers during key waiting stages, while unipoles along the exterior routes extend this presence landside.

This integrated media landscape ensures that brands can build continuity, increase recall and enhance engagement at each stage of the journey.

To fully leverage this potential, JCDecaux ATA has developed network packages that combine media in Terminal 4 and Terminal 1, the main hub at Jeddah International Airport. By bundling these two terminals together, brands benefit from broader coverage across multiple flows and routes, higher frequency of message exposure and a consistent storytelling canvas from arrival to departure. This integrated approach ensures that campaigns are reinforced at multiple touchpoints and that advertisers can tap into the full strength of Jeddah International Airport’s ecosystem.

Wissam Zaatar, Managing Director - KSA expressed: “The opening of Terminal 4 gives Jeddah International Airport, the Kingdom’s busiest airport, a new face and a new gateway for international travellers. We look forward to working closely with advertisers to connect more deeply with passengers and unlock the full potential of Terminal 4. We are confident that the new media solutions we have deployed in Terminal 4 – combined with our wider offering in Terminal 1 – will provide brands with powerful, data‑driven communication platforms to fully leverage this new environment and engage travellers in a meaningful way.”

A powerful platform for brands

With growing international traffic, a diverse mix of regional and international travellers, and a media network built around dwell‑time, journey coverage, impactful formats and smart packages, Terminal 4 offers brands a powerful combination of scale, quality audiences and premium positioning.

JCDecaux ATA looks forward to partnering with advertisers to unlock the full potential of this new international gateway in Jeddah, creating campaigns that truly connect with travellers and elevate brand presence.
